How Fragror Smart Fragrance Diffusers Work
Every Fragror diffuser uses nano-atomization: waterless, no heat, cold-air diffusion. Here is what happens inside the unit, how it compares, and the questions Fragror customers ask most.
Three stages of Fragror diffusion

Nano-atomization
Compressed air breaks fragrance oil into a dry, cold mist of micro-particles. No water, so nothing is diluted and nothing grows mould. No heat, so the oil's character is preserved.
Ultrasonic diffusers mix oil with water. Fragror diffusers do not use water.

Silent turbofan distribution
A turbofan pushes the mist evenly through the room or into the HVAC duct at near-zero noise.

HVAC integration
On the Apex and Apex Duo, the mist enters your supply duct and travels through every vent in the property.
One Apex replaces 20+ plug-in diffusers.

Fragror diffuser FAQs
What is nano-atomization?
A cold-air process that breaks fragrance oil into micro-particles without water or heat.
Is it safe?
Yes. Fragror oils are non-toxic, phthalate-free and cruelty-free. There is no flame and no water reservoir.
Which Fragror diffusers connect to HVAC?
The Apex and Apex Duo. The Studio is standalone. The Drive is for vehicles.
How do I control it?
The FRAGROR BLISS app on iOS and Android, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The Apex and Apex Duo also have an LCD touchscreen.
How large a space can it cover?
The Apex covers up to 2,000m² via HVAC. The Apex Duo extends beyond that with two zones.
Does it work with any fragrance oil?
Use Fragror oil only. Oils with fatty carriers can clog the atomizer.
How much oil does it use?
It depends on intensity and schedule. A 1000ml bottle lasts weeks to months in an Apex.
Does it need maintenance?
Wipe the nozzle periodically and keep the reservoir clean when changing scents.
